Renew Your Manicurist License In Texas

How to Renew Your Manicurist License

A licensed Manicurist is authorized to perform nail treatments such as cutting, trimming, polishing, tinting, coloring, cleansing, manicuring, pedicuring, or attaching false nails, as well as massaging, cleansing, treating, or beautifying a person’s hands or feet.

The renewal of your Manicurist License is a requirement in Texas to perform the services. Failing to comply with it can lead to fines, and/or license suspensions.

1A Continuing Education, an official provider of continuing education for the Texas Department of Licensing of Regulation or TDLR, strives to facilitate this task.

In order to extend the validity of your license, TDLR states that you must complete your continuing education “during the two years before your license expires”.
