Yes! 1A-Continuing Education is an approved provider with TDLR for these all courses we offer.
Licensed operators in cosmetology, including barbers, need to take continuing education courses in order to renew their license every two years.
1A-CE will submit your completion information to the state licensing program within one working day. Immediately upon completion of the course, you will receive a downloadable certificate. We offer a professionally printed certificate for a small additional fee, mailed within one working day.
Yes! You can pause your lessons and log out, when you log in again you will be directed to the last lesson you had finished as all information is saved to our website.
While You cannot legally offer cosmetology services if your license is expired, most of the time you can renew it. If a license has been expired for 90 days or less, you may renew the license by paying a renewal fee of $75 (1.5 times the normal fee). If your license that has been expired for more than 90 days but less than 18 months may be renewed by paying a renewal fee of $100 (2 times the normal fee).
